Christopher Saunders trained at The Royal Ballet School and joined the Company in 1983, rising to Principal Character Artist in 1997 and becoming Rehearsal Director in 2017. Over four decades he has performed iconic character roles including Don Quixote, Drosselmeyer, Von Rothbart, and Lord Capulet, and has staged ballets worldwide.
