Ryoichi Hirano

Ryoichi Hirano was born in Osaka and won the gold medal at the Prix de Lausanne in 2001, joining The Royal Ballet that year and rising to Principal in 2016. He has spent more than two decades with the Company performing major roles across the classical and contemporary repertory. He is one of the most celebrated international ballet stars in Japan.
