Melissa Hamilton

Melissa Hamilton was born in Dromore, County Down, and joined The Royal Ballet in 2007 after winning the Youth America Grand Prix. She was promoted to Principal in 2024 after a distinguished career as First Soloist, during which she created roles in numerous Wayne McGregor works including Woolf Works, The Dante Project, and Yugen. She is celebrated for her performances as Juliet, Manon, and Mary Vetsera in Mayerling.
