Leeds Playhouse is an award-winning producing theatre and artistic beacon for the North of England. Founded in 1970, it has established itself as one of the region's largest and most influential theatres, creating pioneering and internationally recognised productions over more than five decades. Housed in a striking modernist building in the heart of Leeds city center, the theatre is built by and for the people of Leeds, serving as a cultural hub where diverse audiences gather to experience world-class performances.
