Founded in 1972 in Seattle, Pacific Northwest Ballet is the premier ballet company of the Pacific Northwest. Performing at McCaw Hall, the company maintains a strong Balanchine heritage as a member of the George Balanchine Trust, preserving and performing the works of one of the 20th century's greatest choreographers.
The company is celebrated for its annual Nutcracker production featuring sets and costumes by Maurice Sendak. Under Peter Boal's artistic tenure, PNB has brought new choreographic voices to audiences while maintaining its commitment to artistic excellence.
